International Society on Underground Freight Transportation

ISUFT is a forum for discussion and presenting research progress by international experts, engineers, economists, geographers and planners working on various types of underground freight transport and/or capsule pipelines and related construction and tunnelling technologies.

The five specific objectives of ISUFT symposia are:

1. Review state-of-the-art and recent developments in the field of underground freight transport and/or capsule pipelines.
2. Share research findings among researchers
3. Bring stakeholders together to plan for the future of these systems
4. Bring attention to the capability of these systems as a sustainable new mode of freight transport for the future.
5. Organise a worldwide network (coalition) to promote and accelerate commercial use of underground freight transport and/or capsule pipelines.
